I've found that grocery stores in northern Minnesota are much better than those in southern Minnesota (outside the metro). Don't know why, but there it is. Found Almond Mound cookies, which are endemic to this area. Bottom line, if you want it or need it, you will easily find it here. ”

“ This is one of the larger Coborn's stores. It has a deli with a little section where you can eat in the store. It also has a food demonstration area. Best of all, this location has a walk-in clinic where you can have a simple strept test and other basic procedures done. That's been enormously helpful to me and my family over the years. You'll find all the groceries here laid out as they are in most of the other Coborn's stores in the area. It does seem as if Coborn's has a monopoly. One of the things I like best about most of the Coborn's stores is that the employees will smile and greet you. It makes you want to shop there, even if the prices are a bit higher than Aldi's. ”
